Travel Websites With Free Child Places

Free child places when booking a holiday can save you hundreds of pounds on the cost.  Not all travel agents offer 'kids go free' options, but many savvy parents are only interested in booking with websites that do offer the popular deal.

Websites that offer free child places

We have scouted out the best package holiday providers that offer free child places, so whether you're looking at a holiday in the sun, a cruise or even something a little different, these websites will help you save money on your next holiday booking.

Which Travel Agents Offer Free Child Places?

Free Child places aren't as common in the travel industry as people think. The concept was first introduced by travel giant Tui back when they were known as 'Thompson Holidays' and was later adopted by rival company Thomas Cook.

Nowadays there aren't many tour operators offering the popular deal, and some of the slim pickings are actually TUI-owned brands - although, there are still a few.

The best Travel Agents that offer FREE Child Places...

1 - Tui

TUI Free Kid Places

TUI is the most well known travel company that offers regular free child places.  With Tui bookings, you can bag one free kids' place for each room that has a minimum of two full-paying adults.

Tip: If wanting to book separately or split rooms to get two free child places, always call or visit a branch before booking to ensure there are actually two available for that hotel/flight.

2 - Jet2Holidays

Jet2 Holidays Free Child Places

Jet2holidays has a huge range of free child places which are available across all destinations, all seasons and all months. There's a handy 'free child place' finder and you can search from 1000s of hotels and destinations.

Easyjet holidays have free child places available on selected 3, 4, 7, 10, 11 and 14 night holidays.  There's a large range of 'kids go free' deals available, with the added bonus of being coupled with their budget airline, meaning the prices are significantly lower than other major tour operators. There are some real bargains to be found.

4 - First Choice

First Choice Free Kid Places

First Choice is part of the TUI Group so a lot of the holidays which include the 'kids go Free' places will be similar - if not exactly the same as TUI. It is always advisable to compare both before making a purchase as the price can slightly differ.

5 - On The Beach

Money Saving Central

On The Beach offers 'Kids Included' places on holidays during various promotions throughout the year. Pickings are always slim though, with only a few hotels participating at a time.

6 - Holiday Hypermarket

Holiday Hypermarket isn't really a travel agent, it's a search engine that showcases Tui and First Choice Deals, so it just saves searching both of the websites individually, but always remember to check if it's not cheaper direct.

Free Child Place Tips & FAQs

As a mum of five who loves a holiday, I am always on the lookout for a bargain, so here are some helpful tips that I have learned over the year, to make the most out of your money.

How to get Two Free Child Places

If you are a family of 4 or 5 looking to get 2 free kid's places, it's not possible. A free child place is per room with a minimum of 2 adults, so unless you are booking for 6 or more people, you will only be able to get one free child place.

If you are a family of 6 with teens it's usually always cheaper to book 2 twin rooms and get 2 free kid's places. Even though you're paying adult prices for your teens, it still works out cheaper than the extra hike you pay for family rooms, which are extortionately priced.

Do Under 2s Go Free?

With almost all package holiday companies, under 2s go completely free. This is worth factoring in for dates, if you are looking at July and your baby turns 2 in June, try and go before their birthday, so you can get the baby free as well as another free child (where applicable)

What ages do Kids go Free on Holidays?

Free child places are typically available for children aged 2-16.
