Survey Site Tips

Keep it Real

Although the rewards for completing surveys won’t be enough to quit your day job, they are a nice little bonus each month! And let’s face it, a little extra cash always comes in handy!

Sign up to Plenty

The more survey sites you're joined to, the more money you can make.  Sometimes surveys can be few and far between, so by joining up to as many as possible, you will always have one on offer if you have the time to spare to participate.

Never Pay to Join

No reputable Survey site will ask you for a fee to join.  All of the paid survey sites listed above are free to apply for and use, so it's best to stick with them.  If you do find new ones you'd like to try, remember, if you're asked at any point during sign up for payment, delete your profile and move on to the next.

Cash Out ASAP

Unless you're saving your stash for a particular reason, it's always best to withdraw your cash as soon as you reach the payment threshold. If a survey site happens to go bust, you have no protection and would lose all the money from your hard work, so it's best for it to be in your bank account, rather than theirs.

Get a Separate Email

Using your own email address will be a big mistake. These types of sites can be a bit of a pin for spamming you with emails. So it's best to get a dedicated email solely for the purposes of side hustles. That way, you can check-in when you want, without the hassle of having your personal email flooded.

Be Honest

You might be tempted to answer a question the way you feel the retailer would want you to answer, or tell a little white lie in a bid to enable you to be eligible for a certain survey. This will only result in you being penalised and could result in you getting no surveys sent your way at all.

Companies often corroborate previous answers you have given on other surveys, so have been known to catch those out that tell porkies.

Refer a Friend

Most survey sites offer a small refer-a-friend bonus.  So if you have any friends or family you think might be interested in making a few extra £££s, it's an easy way to boost your earnings.

Here's all the top UK based Refer Friend schemes you can earn money from
