FREE Grants to help the children of UK fashion and textile employees who are struggling financially

The charity Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust provides financial support for school essentials to families who work, or recently worked, in the UK fashion and textile industry, including high street clothing shops (NEXT, M&S, John Lewis, etc) as well as textile manufacturers, logistic companies for fashion/textiles and commercial laundries.

Employment criteria

F&T Children’s Trust helps parents and carers who currently work or used to work for UK fashion and textile employers.

  • Be the parent or carer of a child aged 0–18
  • Be facing financial difficulties.
  • Be able to show at least 12 months of income from the fashion sector in the last 9 years.

  • School Uniform 
  • PE Kit
  • Footwear
  • General clothing
  • Study Essentials (e.g. schoolbag, stationery, books, etc)
  • Course equipment (e.g to support vocational courses)
  • Laptop for homework (if they are in secondary education and have no access to a home computer)
