Supermarket cafes, chain restaurants and food venues all around the UK are offering the ‘Kids Eat Free’ or Kids Eat for £1 deal during school holidays, and savvy parents are hunting them out to keep the cost of going out down.

Kids Eat Free
It’s so hard to keep the kids entertained for long periods of time without spending a fortune. Here are all the restaurants and cafes which are offering ‘Kids Eat Free’ (or for £1) during every UK school holiday in 2025.

UK School Holidays
Schools in the UK have 6 Half Terms that last between one and six weeks.
- February Half Term – This is a one-week school holiday, usually starting mid-Feb
- Easter Holidays – This is a two-week school holiday that depends on which day Easter falls, which is either early or mid-April.
- May Half Term – This is a one-week half term, which is usually the last week in May.
- Summer Holidays – This is the longest half term, at a whopping 6 weeks and usually starts in late July and lasts until the first week of September
- Autumn Half Term – This always coincides with Halloween and begins in late October
- Christmas Holidays – This is a two-week half term, that usually starts the last Friday before Christmas week.

Kids Eat Free May Half Term 2025
Asda Cafes
Kids eat for 60p All Day, Every Day at Asda cafes, with no adult spend required, for the entire month of May (including half term).
The £1 kids eat free offer will commence again in June and has been extended until the end of 2025.
In addition, children will receive a free piece of fruit such as an apple, pear or banana when purchasing the hot kids £1 meal deal.
Freebie: Asda also provides FREE Ella’s baby food pouches for children under 18 months old with any purchase.
Morrisons
Kids eat free all day, every day in Morrisons cafes nationwide, daily with every adult main meal over £5. This offer includes half terms.

Bills
Up to two kids can eat free ALL DAY Monday – Friday, if one adult orders any main dish (breakfast, lunch or dinner) from Monday 26th – Friday 30th May.

Kids eat free all day (monday – friday) during all school holidays at Yo Sushi!, when dining with a full-paying adult (minimum £10 spend).

Brewdog
One free kids meal for under 13s, with a purchase of an adults main meal, when you book online using booking type ‘KIDS EAT FREE‘.

TGI Fridays
Kids Eat Free all day every day When ‘Stripes Rewards Members’ purchase a full-priced adult’s main meal.
If you’re not a Rewards Member, book your table and then download the app before your visit.

Kids Can Dine For Free throughout the school holidays, excluding Saturdays after 6pm.

Heartwood Inns and brasserie blancs also offer free kids 2 course meals during all half term holidays when an adult buys a 2 course meal.
Good service and save money
I can’t see any info on Pizza Hut website that they are doing this. When I google it it says it has ended. It’s not under their current offers?
I have communication with their marketing team, they let me know ahead of release so they don’t miss out on the viral ‘Kids Eat Free’ post. It’ll be on their website in a few days.
Could someone please define ‘Kids’ – we’re struggling, and my boy is 16. Is he still technically a kid? Huge thanks folks x
Each place has its own set of T&Cs. Some are under 16 and some under 12. To be honest, I eat kids meals myself due to stomach surgery and I have never had any problems. A lot of places you can order from the app.
Is Wetherspoons not offering this deal?
No, I haven’t seen Wetherspoons do ‘Kids Eat Free’ since I have been tracking these deals for people (over 10 years) I think it’s because they cater mainly for adults.
