Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, It's actually pretty easy to bag free booze. Some companies want you to test and review their newest flavours, others just want you to sign up to their app or newsletter -either way, claiming your favourite alcoholic freebies has never been easier!
Free Alcohol
There are some genius ways to get your hands on free alcohol, here are the best ones...
Product Discovery Clubs
Also known as 'home tester clubs' are a great way to get free alcohol, delivered straight to your door, in turn for a review. There a few notable clubs such as 'HomeTesterClub' and Triyit.
I joined Triyit when it pre-launched in 2020. It's still in pre-launch state while they are ironing out any kinks and getting brands on board, but you can still join. So far I have been sent a full 70cl bottle of Harveys Aperitivo Pink and a few new (secret) Kopparberg cans in various flavours.
How it Works: Triyit is free to join and you will randomly receive products through the post. They also encourage you to take Instagrammable pics of your product and tag them, and the brand, which then enters you into a prize draw (but this isn't mandatory).
Note: Once you have received and tried your product, you will be required to fill out a feedback form which will be emailed to you.
Shopmium
Shopmium is a must-have freebie app. There are free food, drink, laundry, and sanitary items on offer every day to bag for free, but best of all there's often Alcohol.
How it works: You choose and buy any of the products listed and they’ll reimburse you via PayPal straight away.
Note: You must use the smartphone App, but you can also refer friends and earn £3 each time, which you can spend on more alcohol.
ClickSnap by Quidco
ClickSnap gives users cashback on certain items (including free alcohol).
How it Works: Find and purchase any alcohol deals you fancy that feature on the clicksnap page from your local supermarket, snap a quick pic of your receipt and upload it to your account. The cashback will be automatically credited to your Quidco account and then paid into your bank of choice.
Note: To use ClickSnap you’ll need a Quidco account.

Mystery Shopping
There are plenty of 'secret shopper' opportunities across the UK! The tasks are varied and you might not even have to go in-store or submit written feedback. You're able to choose which tasks you take on, so if you're only interested in testing out restaurants and bars that serve alcohol - you can!
How it Works: Mystery shoppers are hired to go into businesses and submit an independent review on them/the services and/or products.
Note: You will have to spend your own money and wait to be reimbursed once you have submitted your feedback.
Serve Legal
Join the UK’s leading ID testing company and get free alcohol. They enable companies to independently test that their staff are checking the ID of young customers – an approach supported by local authorities.
How it Works: You will be asked to complete 'compliance auditing visits' to a range of sites that serve alcohol to the public, including, supermarkets, restaurants, bars & licensed shops.
Note: You have to be 18 or over to join, you will be reimbursed for the alcohol you purchase and earn a set fee for your time.
Freebie Sites
You can get all sorts of stuff for free on freebie websites such as LatestFreeStuff and MagicFreebies, but perhaps the best is the free alcohol deals. You can find spirits, wines, pre-mixed cans, and new-in alcohol flavours to test out.
How it Works: Scan the site for the freebies you fancy, There is usually a suitability quiz or registration form involved to claim the alcohol freebies on offer.
Note: You would need to check regularly to be in with the chance to bag free booze as alcohol freebies get snapped up fast, but they do update with new offers very frequently.

Dusk App (formerly Drinki)
This app works by offering 1 free drink (per person) at certain bars and restaurants. They offer this in the hope that you will stay at their establishment beyond the freebie (but you don't have to).
How it works: Download the app and search for a bar near you offering a complimentary drink.
Note: Currently, Dusk operates in London, Manchester, and Liverpool.
Loyalty Cards
Another sneaky way to get free alcohol is to use Supermarket loyalty cards, spend as you normally would, and then use the points to get free alcohol.
Tip: I save my points up all year, then wait until Tesco or Asda have their 25% off 6 bottles of wine deal on, to maximise my freebie even further.
Like saving money on Alcohol? Me too which is why we track the supermarkets 25% off wine deal dates
